Just1mike supports cardiac screenings for youth & young adults in
​ Illinois and California through partnerships with
Young Hearts for Life (IL) and  Kyle J. Taylor Foundation (CA).

• Heart screenings are not currently part of regular well-child check-ups or pre-participation sports physicals.
• Non-cardio focused approach to youth check-ups misses over 90% of youth at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
• ECGs are the most effective tool to identify youth at risk for SCA.
• 1 in 300 youth is at risk for an undetected heart condition.
• A simple, non-invasive ECG can detect over 70% of hidden heart conditions that put kids at risk for SCA
• Heart screenings save lives!

So far, just1mike has helped to provide free electrocardiogram (ECG) testing
​to over 10,000 youth & young adults

In Michael's high school alone, out of 1,900 students, there were 13 suspicious EKGs; 6 of these students were ultimately diagnosed with hidden heart conditions.

Lives were saved that day.
