Hinsdale Central Sports Club Turkey Bowl Fundraiser
Thank you HCHS Sports Club and all particpants!
Connor Bonino and Anuj Karamchandi, seniors at Hinsdale Central High School who lead the school's sports club, organized an event to benefit the just1mike foundation. The inaugural Turkey Bowl Flag Football Tournament was held on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019. Close to 60 students participated to help make a special donation to just1mike. The event was recorded by two members of the just1mike junior board and featured story in The Clarendon Courier on Dec. 19, 2019.
We decided on the charity, because Michael Brindley was a student at Hinsdale Central, Bonino said, and everyone really likes the foundation here. They came a few years ago and provided free EKGs to all all the students, so we decided that we would give back to them "
